Spicy Grilled Pork Tenderloin Cooked on a Cedar Plank

Cooking on a grilling plank can add wonderful flavor to your favorite meats or fish. In this case, our pork tenderloin was cooked on a Cedar plank.

Marinade Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried mustard
1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
5 cloves of garlic, sliced
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
3/4 lb. pork tenderloin

Grill Setup
Fill your Big Green Egg with charcoal and light. Bring the Egg to 450-500 degrees. Soak one cedar plank for 30 minutes. Place the plank on the cooking grid and place the marinated pork tenderloin on the plank.

Preparation
Combine the first 7 ingredients in a plastic Ziplock bag and marinate for 30-60 minutes (may be marinated in the refrigerator longer if desired).

Cook
Grill on a cedar plank for approximately 20 minutes on each side. Brush with additional marinade as desired. Internal temperature of tenderloin should read 150 degrees with an instant-read digital thermometer.
